PER exam in Murcia 2026
Organised by the regional government (Dirección General de Litoral y Puertos de la Consejería de Fomento e Infraestructuras (CARM)). Here are the 2026 dates, how to register, the fees and how the exam works, with links to the official sources (in Spanish).

There are also two restricted extraordinary PER sessions (May and September), only for students of the courses of the Universidad Popular de Lorca, the Universidad de Murcia and the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena.

Online at the CARM e-office (Sede Electrónica), procedure 525, with an electronic ID, a digital certificate or Cl@ve (the Spanish government sign-in system); the fee is paid in the same application. Also at any public registry, and schools can apply on behalf of their students. Official page

How the exam works
45 multiple-choice questions in Spanish with four answers, 90 minutes. You pass with 32 correct answers (at most 13 mistakes) and within the mistake limits of the must-pass topics: Buoyage (2), Collision regulations (COLREGs) (5) and Chartwork (2).
With the PNB licence, or with the PNB theory passed in Murcia (for the next two sessions), you only sit the specific part of the PER: topics 7 to 11.

What to bring
