Online on the Conselleria's nautical activities website with an electronic ID or e-signature, or at PROP offices and registries. The fee is paid with form 046. The PER is usually examined on the Saturday of each session. Official page

How the exam works
45 multiple-choice questions in Spanish with four answers, 90 minutes. You pass with 32 correct answers (at most 13 mistakes) without exceeding the limit of the must-pass topics: Balizamiento (2), Reglamento RIPA (5), and Carta de Navegación (2). A wrong answer does not cancel a correct one.
PER complementario: with the PNB licence, or with the PNB theory passed in the Comunitat Valenciana within the last two sessions, you answer 18 questions from units 7 to 11; you pass with 15 correct and at least 2 of the 4 chart questions.

What to bring
Original DNI, NIE, passport or Spanish driving licence (of digital documents only MiDNI is accepted); form 046 receipt; pen, nautical protractor, ruler, set squares and compass; non-programmable scientific calculator. Phones and smartwatches are not allowed.
